South African Caster Semenya has come from obscurity to being the favorite to win the 800m Womens Final at the London Olympics. The final will be tonight 11th August 2012 at 8PM GMT at the Olympic Stadium.
With a winning time of 1:57.67 in the semi final, Semenya, 21, comfortably won her heat and was quoted as saying she was “Feeling very confident about the final”.
All the bookies have tipped Semenya to win.
